Hindu Mission Hospital commissioned a Diabetic Foot Care Clinic on 23.09.2010 in association with Prof. Rangarajan endowment.

A small function was organized for the inauguration of the clinic with a very good response from the local public.

The diabetic foot care unit examines both the feet of a patient for sensitivity such as hot and cold temperatures, vibration and touching sense. These can be recorded and used further to advise the patient on foot protection.

On the above occasion one patient was provided with free artificial limb.

The function was presided over by Sub Judge Mr. Raveendran. Special Invitee Mr. Raghunathan, Sec. National College Trichy. Dr. Ravi and Dr. Gnanaselvan gave talks on Diabetic Foot and Eye Care.
